Course Overview
The Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton offers a wide range of STEM‑focused undergraduate degrees preparing students for careers in technology, engineering, computing, design, life sciences and more. 📌 BSc (Hons) Computer Science
This programme covers foundational and advanced computing concepts, including programming, software development, data systems, networks and emerging technologies. Students also get opportunities for industry placements and hands‑on projects which help build employability in the tech sector.
📌 BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering
Focuses on chemical processes, industrial engineering and laboratory work. Graduates gain practical engineering skills and problem‑solving ability relevant to pharmaceuticals, energy and manufacturing industries.
📌 BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering
Combines engineering fundamentals with vehicle systems, design and workshop practices.
📌 BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
Prepares students to design, analyse and manage infrastructure projects such as bridges, buildings and transport systems.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements:
✔ Recognised higher secondary / Class 12 qualification or international equivalent
✔ Specific subject requirements depending on course: e.g., Maths + science/technology subjects often required for engineering and computing.
English Language Proficiency:
✔ IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (or equivalent score in TOEFL/PTE/Duolingo)
✔ Pre‑sessional English support available if needed
✔ International Foundation Programme entry available with IELTS 5.5 overall.
